Table For Whenever

No reservation, no sitting. The table has been out here all morning and it will still be here this afternoon, and if nobody uses it, that's fine too.

The umbrella is up because the sun is high. The chairs face the lawn because that's where you'd want to look. Someone made these decisions long enough ago that nobody remembers making them, and now the courtyard just runs itself - holding shade, keeping out the noise, waiting without any particular urgency.
